Everyone loves “La Bamba.” And most everyone feels the same way about “That’s My Little Suzie.” The truth is, however, that Ritchie Valens’ self-titled debut is teeny-bop music, nothing more, nothing less. It held the same weight in 1959 as NSYNC or The Backstreet Boys in 1997. Yet just like those infamous boy bands, Ritchie Valens has gained considerable charm as time goes on.
